We take a system change approach to address the climate crisis through policy, lobbying, and advocacy. We focus on influencing structural and policy shifts that lead to adaptable and responsive solutions to the climate crisis. We develop high-impact projects and use the impact of these initiatives to influence policies, lobby decision-makers and advocate for climate actions at the community level. We conduct grassroots research, policy analysis, and capacity building for communities to recommend, review, and drive innovative measures to respond equitably to the climate crisis. By integrating our community insights into high-level advocacy, we are not only driving responsive climate policies but also establishing ourselves as the leading voice in Nigeria by serving as the bridge between the community and the government, ensuring that efforts are bottom-up and responsive to our community needs. 

EcoSciGen focuses on supporting policies and initiatives that help indigenous communities reduce their vulnerability to climate risks. Our work in adaptation and resilience centres on advancing policies and practices that protect people, the environment, and their communities. We achieve this through grassroots research, knowledge exchange, and training with indigenous groups, which informs our data analysis and policy recommendations.
